CHINESE EXCLUSION ACT IN FOCUS
On the heels of the 70th anniversary of the repeal of the Chinese Exclusion Act, the Committee of 100 (C-100), an organization of Chinese-American leaders, held a speakers forum featuring Martin Gold, author of Forbidden Citizen, Chinese Exclusion and the US Congress at the Advancing Justice Center of Los Angeles on March 12. Gold said that "continuous education" was needed to prevent similar legislation from ever being enacted again in the future. Los Angeles, CA, Photos by Wang Jun / China Daily
