Illustrations and interactive game launched to celebrate CPC centenary

An illustration series and an interactive game showcasing the achievements of China's poverty alleviation will be launched on Friday, one day after the country celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The illustration series and the game, both of which were developed by video-sharing platform Bilibili and Shanghai Jubian Studio, will be launched on the WeChat account of the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Bilibili website.
Developers said that the two creations depict how China went about eliminating poverty and is marching toward a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
Twenty-four young and famous Bilibili users have volunteered to introduce the game to more internet users through their videos.
"I hope that such events will attract more people from the young generation to pay attention to the country's poverty alleviation efforts and achievements and the Party's century-old development progress," said China Boy Super Gorilla, a Bilibili user who has more than 7.2 million followers.
Another well-known Bilibili user Andy Boreham from New Zealand said he is interested in breaking down barriers and helping more foreigners understand China.
"I traveled to Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in April and recorded the local delicacies and people's lives in a vlog that has been watched more than 610,000 times on overseas social platforms," he said.
