Scenic lakeside village in Guangxi rises through rural tourism

China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that Haokun village, Lingyun county, Baise, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, was enrolled into the third batch of key national rural tourism villages.
Haokun Lake, located at the village, features majestic mountains and crystal waters with vibrant color and variety. There are food stalls providing tourists with local farmhouse cooking, while hotels nearby have balconies with beautiful views of the lake.
The nearly vertical natural caves used to be the only way for Haokun village to communicate with the outside world, as it was surrounded by mountains.
Since the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation, the village has continuously improved road traffic, housing, greenery and other infrastructure, fully developing the tourism industry and improving the living standards of local residents.
