Dragging China into Ukraine crisis wrong: FM

It is "absolutely unacceptable" to blame, sanction or even threaten China for the Ukraine crisis, Foreign Minister Qin Gang said on Tuesday.
China did not create the crisis, is not a party to the crisis, and has not provided weapons to either side of the conflict, Qin said.
China calls for peace, dialogue and de-escalation of the crisis, but efforts for peace talks have been repeatedly undermined, the foreign minister said at a press conference.
"There seems to be an invisible hand pushing for the protraction and escalation of the conflict and using the crisis for certain geopolitical agenda," he said.
The crisis, which has come to a "critical juncture", is in essence an eruption of the problem built up in the security governance of Europe, Qin pointed out, calling for starting peace talks as soon as possible and respecting legitimate security concerns of all parties.
