China-Russia joint naval exercise kicks off

Naval fleets from China and Russia recently conducted their fourth joint maritime patrol in the western and northern regions of the Pacific Ocean, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said on Sunday.
In a statement, the ministry said that this operation was carried out in accordance with the annual plan and mutual consensus between China and Russia.
It emphasized that the operation is not targeted at any third party and is unrelated to the current international and regional situation.
