US students explore Jinhua in Zhejiang

A group of 60 students and teachers from five US states have arrived in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, for a six-day cultural experience as part of 10th season of Jinhua Homestay program.
Their journey began in Tantou village, Wuyi county, where they explored local ecology and cultural heritage through immerse activities with Chinese peers.
This year's program, held in partnership with the Chinese Bridge initiative, draws on the historic China-US friendship rooted in the Doolittle Raid to strengthen people-to-people ties and ensure that this shared legacy is passed on to future generations.
"I never imagined I'd find coffee shops, bookstores, and art galleries in a rural Chinese village," said Micaiah Tatiana Ann Kuebler, a student from Washburn University, as she explored the She Ethnic Culture Museum in the village.
