美國國務(wù)卿約翰?克里于14日上午抵達(dá)北京，開始為期2天的訪華行程。據(jù)外交部發(fā)言人華春瑩10日發(fā)布的消息，克里此行是應(yīng)外交部長王毅邀請。訪華期間，雙方將就中美關(guān)系及其他共同關(guān)心的問題交換意見。

Chinese President Xi Jinping met with visiting US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday morning, pledging China's commitment to a new model of China-US relationship.

中國國家主席習(xí)近平周五上午會見了來訪的美國國務(wù)卿約翰?克里，并表示中方堅定致力于同美方共同構(gòu)建中美新型大國關(guān)系。

新型大國關(guān)系（new model of major power relationship）是以相互尊重（mutual respect）、互利共贏（mutual benefit and win-win）的合作伙伴關(guān)系為核心特征的大國關(guān)系，是崛起國（developing country）和既成大國（developed country）之間處理沖突和矛盾的新方式。2012年5月3日，在北京召開的中美戰(zhàn)略與經(jīng)濟(jì)對話(US–China Strategic and Economic Dialogue)期間，雙方將構(gòu)建中美“新型大國關(guān)系”作為主題，這一概念被高調(diào)推出。

習(xí)近平表示，中方堅定致力于同美方共同構(gòu)建中美新型大國關(guān)系（a new model of China-US relationship），愿同美方加強(qiáng)對話（enhance dialogue），增進(jìn)互信（boost mutual trust），深化合作（boost cooperation），妥處分歧（properly handle differences），推動兩國關(guān)系持續(xù)健康穩(wěn)定向前發(fā)展（forge ahead with the lasting and healthy development of the ties）。
