Combining natural scenery and artistry with shopping, the Ring saw sales revenue of over 1.4 billion yuan ($213.64 million) and more than 15 million visits after just eight months of operation.

As business districts improve, their economic scale continues to grow as well. During the first quarter of 2022, Liangjiang reported a growth rate of 6.3 percent in total retail sales of consumer goods, higher than the Chongqing and national averages by 2.1 and 3 percentage points.
