The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has launched a new recruitment program in Qingdao, eastern province of Shandong on Tuesday.
The program aims to collect about 10 million job listings from employers over the next 100 days, targeting job hunters, especially college graduates.
The program will feature both online and on-site job fairs, focusing on trending industries including artificial intelligence, modern manufacturing, services and international trade, according to a release by the ministry.
As a sideline event to the launching ceremony of the program, an on-site job fair specifically open to college graduates and youths was also held in Qingdao the same day. About 240 companies participated, offering over 4,500 job openings.
