Couchsurfing refers to the practice of moving from one friend's house to another, sleeping in whatever spare space is available, floor or couch, generally staying a few days before moving on to the next house.

“沙發(fā)沖浪”指的是不斷地從一個朋友的家搬到另一個朋友的家，利用朋友家地板或沙發(fā)之類的空閑位置過夜，通常待上幾天就換地方。

The couchsurfing website was launched in the United States in 2004. It now has over six million members from more than 100,000 cities. The website provides a platform for members to "surf" on couches by staying as a guest at a host's home, host travelers, or join an event. Most of its registered members are aged 20 to 30. In China, the culture of couchsurfing is growing as more young people seek adventure on a shoestring.

沙發(fā)沖浪網(wǎng)站于2004年在美國建立，現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)擁有來自10萬多個城市的超600萬名會員。該網(wǎng)站為會員提供到陌生人家沙發(fā)沖浪、讓旅游者在自家沙發(fā)沖浪或參加聚會活動的平臺。大多數(shù)注冊會員年齡在20歲到30歲之間。在中國，沙發(fā)沖浪文化正在蓬勃發(fā)展，越來越多年輕人熱衷于窮游和冒險(xiǎn)。
