中共中央政治局30日召開會(huì)議，分析研究當(dāng)前經(jīng)濟(jì)形勢和經(jīng)濟(jì)工作，研究進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)西藏經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展和長治久安工作，決定設(shè)立中央統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組。

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Thursday decided to set up a leading group on "united front work" to pool support from across society.
中共中央委員會(huì)30日決定設(shè)立“統(tǒng)戰(zhàn)工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組”，以匯聚社會(huì)各方面的支持。

“統(tǒng)戰(zhàn)工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組”即統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組，可以用a leading group on "united front work" 表示，united front指統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線，我們所說的愛國統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線，可以用 patriotic united front表示。

黨的統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線成員通常包括，各民主黨派成員（members of democratic parties）、無黨派人士（personages without party affiliation）、海外華僑（overseas Chinese），宗教人士（religious leaders）、優(yōu)秀知識(shí)分子和民營企業(yè)家（outstanding intellectuals and private entrepreneurs）等。

中國八大民主黨派分別是中國國民黨革命委員會(huì)（Revolutionary Committee Of The Chinese Kuomintang）、中國民主同盟（China Democratic League）、中國民主建國會(huì)（China National Democratic Construction Association）、中國民主促進(jìn)會(huì)（China Association for Promoting Democracy）、中國農(nóng)工民主黨（Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party）、中國致公黨（China Zhi Gong Party /China Public Interest Party）、九三學(xué)社（Jiu San Society）和臺(tái)灣民主自治同盟（Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League）。

中央統(tǒng)戰(zhàn)工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組主要職責(zé)是對統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線貫徹落實(shí)中央政策部署（implement CPC policies among people and sectors of the united front），督促檢查中央關(guān)于統(tǒng)一戰(zhàn)線的重大方針、政策、法律法規(guī)的貫徹落實(shí)等。
