當?shù)貢r間8月30日，第36屆美國日間艾美獎舉行了頒獎典禮，哥倫比亞廣播公司的肥皂劇《大膽而美麗》獲得劇情類最佳劇集獎，這是該劇開播22年來獲得的最大榮譽。該劇男主角的扮演者克里斯蒂安?李布蘭科摘得劇情類最佳男主角殊榮，而最佳女主角的桂冠則落在了蘇姍?哈斯克爾的頭上，她在美國廣播公司的日間劇集One Life to Live（《只此一生》）當中扮演馬蒂?賽布魯克。播出超過40年、陪伴不少人成長的兒童節(jié)目《芝麻街》獲得終身成就獎，而談話節(jié)目The View（《觀點》）的五位主持人則集體獲得杰出脫口秀主持人獎。

The Bold and the Beautiful has won best drama series at the 36th Daytime Emmy Awards, the soap opera's first such win since it began 22 years ago.
"It's sweeter after 22 years, it didn't come in five or 10 or 15 years," said the US show's executive producer, Bradley Bell.
Bell's late father, William J Bell, co-created another famous US soap, The Young and the Restless.
It picked up three awards, including best actor for Christian LeBlanc.
It was LeBlanc's third Emmy. He plays Michael Baldwin in the soap.
Susan Heskell was named best actress for her portrayal of Marty Saybrooke in ABC's One Life to Live.
Bowing out
The five hosts of The View - Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherrie Shepherd and Barbara Walters - collectively picked up the outstanding talk show host award, ending Ellen DeGeneres's four-year run as the winner.
CBS show Guiding Light picked up one of its final awards as it prepares to go off air after 72 years.
Jeff Branson, who plays Shayne Lewis on the soap, tied for best supporting actor with Vincent Irizarry of ABC's All My Children.
"This is so bittersweet," Branson said backstage.
The low-rated Guiding Light will air its final episode later this month.
Children's programme Sesame Street picked up the lifetime achievement award.
Kevin Clash, who plays Elmo in the show, was named best performer in a children's series.
The game show host winner was Meredith Vieira for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, while Good Morning America was named outstanding morning program for the third year running.
Rachael Ray won the award for outstanding talk show for the second year in a row, as did Tyra Banks, whose program was named outstanding informative talk show.
